Community Benefit Fund recipients announced

The Summerfield Battery Team is excited to announce the successful initiatives from round one of our Community Benefit Fund.

We were blown away by both the volume and quality of applications and the amazing projects you have planned for the Mid Murray Region, and wish we had been able to support them all. We would again like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to apply or speak to us about their initiatives.

Congratulations to the successful applicants:

• Cambrai Sports Club – purchase and installation of new toilet cisterns

• Country Education Foundation of Murray Malley – contribution towards student sponsorships

• L2P Murraylands – sponsorship of 8 learner drivers

• Mannum Football Club – contribution towards construction of an accessible toilet/parent room facility

• Mannum Kindergarten and Rural Care – contribution towards the redevelopment of the centre’s outdoor learning area

• Murray Bridge Community Centre – upgrade of essential washing machine and food storage equipment

• Murray Mallee Regional Festival of Music – hire of tiered staging for 2026 festival

• The Pompoota Hall – purchase and install of a new hot water system

• Sedan Cambrai Football Netball Club – purchase of a mobile electronic netball scoreboard and countertop display fridge

• Walker Flat and District Progress Association – purchase of a trailer to transport recycling bins
