Works update

We are excited to announce that major construction of the Summerfield Battery is now complete. Earlier this month, the substation and transformers were energised, with final testing and commissioning now underway.

Testing and commissioning activities, along with rehabilitation of temporary construction and support areas, will continue until the end of the year.

Project sale

Last month it was announced that Palisade Investment Partners (Palisade) had acquired Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' (CIP) 100% ownership interest in the Summerfield Battery Project (Summerfield) through Intera Renewables.

Palisade's operational management services arm will manage the Summerfield Battery facility once it is operational early next year. Until then, the project team and our contact details remain the same.

Community Benefit Fund

Organisations that applied for the first round of the Summerfield Community Benefit Fund have now been provided an update on the outcome of their application. If you have not received a response, please get in touch with the project team.
