join our Community Benefit Committee

In the coming weeks we will announce the opening of the Summerfield Battery Community Benefit Fund and are currently seeking expressions of interest from locals to join a Community Benefit Committee to assist us in finalising the structure of the fund and make recommendations on the distribution of funds.

 The Committee will meet at least once per funding round, in person or virtually, initially to help finalise the structure of the fund, and then to review applications. While not compulsory, Committee members may also be invited to attend official presentations or similar, in instances where the funding recipients organise events for their projects.

 The Community Benefit Fund will provide $50,000 on an annual basis to projects that enhance the liveability of the local area, through support for education, community, sporting, culture and art initiatives.

 To register your interest in joining the Advisory Committee, please read the information available on our website and complete both the Nomination and Declaration of Interest Form by Sunday 7 September 2025.
