Project update - August 2025

Works are progressing on site to construct the battery and substation areas.

 Construction activities that are ongoing or will commence over the next few months include:

  • Earthworks and the installation of bored (drilled) piles, including the use of excavators, earth moving equipment and a piling rig

  • Installing steel reinforcement and pouring concrete to construct the benches that battery units and support facilities (like the substation) will be mounted on

  • Delivery of equipment and materials

  • Installation of electrical infrastructure

  • Delivery of oversize battery and substation components is expected to start from October 2025. Further notification will be provided before this commences.
