Project update - April 2025

Road works

Further to the December 2024 project update, works to upgrade the intersection of Mannum Road and Tepko Road will commence in the coming days. On Hoffman Road, some sections of resurfacing works are complete, with the remaining section due to be completed in the coming weeks.

Road works in both locations are expected to be complete by mid-June. More information about these activities can be found here.

Works on site

At the Summerfield Battery site, work to prepare the battery facility's footprint (or bench) is continuing. Preparatory works for the substation have also commenced. Both activities will involve ongoing earthworks, including excavation, compaction and surfacing activities.

Deliveries of equipment and materials will continue throughout construction of the project.

Work will be completed between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, and some Sundays from 4 May 2025 onwards.
